Sand Hollow features a gorgeous John Fought 18-hole championship course plus a St Andrews style 9-hole full length links layout (9 holes play to 3687 yards!), along with an 18
-hole putting course, targeted grass range, plus large putting/chipping green. A "Wee Links" 9 hole pitch & putt course is opening in the Fall of 2012. The new 7,000 square-foot
clubhouse features a golf shop, gourmet restaurant, banquet facilities, spectacular views and premium amenities.
Situated a few miles off Interstate 15 and north of St George, this property is ideally suited for a world class design, and lives up to its promise with a group of golf holes on the
back that will make golfers sit back and take notice. The front side plays along a gently rolling terrain with gradual elevation changes, and spectacular mountain vistas.
The back side begins from an elevated tee area, and the terrain takes a dramatic turn from there. Holes 12 trough 15 play along some of the most unique topography anywhere,
with several green complexes that will make golfers feel as though - if they miss, the ball will fall off the face of the earth!
Golfers are treated to some spectacular scenery from the 11th green, and the par four 12th like several of the holes, has red rock mountains to the right and sloping ridges to the
left. The short par four 13th plays over a ridge with a narrow landing zone and course knowledge comes in handy for the nearly blind tee shot off the par five 14th. Number 15 is
one of the most gorgeous golf holes anywhere - a signature par three that demands tremendous accuracy - anything left is gone, and anything short will also slope down to the rocks.
There are 5 sets of tees that play to distances and slopes that measure 7315 yards/137 slope, 6893 yards/133 slope, 6462 yards/126 slope, 6060 yards/116 slope for men and
124 for women, and 5306 yards with a slope of 114 for ladies playing from the forward tees. Pro Link GPS is standard on all carts and sprinkler heads are also measured to the
center of the green. Golfers will encounter sweeping, undulating green complexes with wide landing zones on many of the holes (with the aforementioned 12-15 an exception).
There are about 40 stunning red sand bunkers and no water hazards - they are completely unnecessary here!
